Recharge with the men of Iron Works with great food by master chefs, delightful fellowship, and a guest speaker to give insight about strengthening our roles as Christian men. Please RSVP so we can prepare enough food.
After the service February 2, stay for lunch, yes, but also for IWC's annual church family meeting. We'll discuss the coming year and look back on what God did here last year. We're ordering pizza; if you'd like to bring a salad or dessert, sign up below.
Vision for the Year Ahead: What is the vision for IWC in the coming year, and how do we plan to get there? IWC leadership will present the aspirations for this year as well as the concrete steps we as a congregation will be taking to reach those goals.
Phoenixville Refuge hosts a Market Day. Fresh produce, meat, toiletries, diapers and miscellaneous household items are available for those in need in the community. Kids activities and games accompanied by a warm meal are offered in hopes of providing an opportunity for community members to build relationships. There is also a prayer station where community members are able to share any current needs and prayers requests confidentially with a member of our leadership team.
New or new-ish to Iron Works? We invite you to join us for a meetup where you can get to know the pastors and staff, meet other leaders in the church, and get more information about how to plug in to life with Iron Works. Light refreshment provided.
An RSVP is appreciated to help us plan, but not required. We’d love to get to know you!

On Saturday, November 16th, we will be holding a commemoration of the work the Lord has done through Sam and Mary K. Andreades here at Iron Works Church. Sam and Mary K. served with our church for four years, some of the toughest this church has been through.
If you were blessed by the ministry of Sam and Mary K., if you’d like to celebrate the good work the Lord did here while they were with us, please join us on November 16th from 4:30–7p for a dinner held at the church. Please RSVP below by November 1st.
There will be cards available for any who’d like to write them a note; otherwise you are welcome to bring your own. And if you would like to give them a gift, Patty Yodis is collecting items and gift cards for a gift basket. Or, Venmo Stefany Gess (Venmo: @Stefany-Gess) to contribute toward the gift basket, instead.
Questions? Contact Pastor Kent or the Session.

Phoenixville Refuge, a mission of Iron Works Church to serve the city, is looking to partner with Good Works, a local non-profit that partners with churches and local businesses to renovate Chester County homes for those in need. Currently, there are no churches in Phoenixville involved in this mission - but you could help step into that gap.
To explore this partnership, Good Works is organizing a workday for Iron Works on October 12th, 8:30am–4pm, which will focus on renovating local homes.
Join the renovation crew! A crew of 6–8 is needed. While previous experience with home repairs and renovation is appreciated, anyone is welcome to come and help, including teens.
Or, prepare a lunch for the team if hammer-wielding isn’t your thing.
If you're interested, please contact David Wagner and Wade Pegon by September 29th.
Register now for the middle school and high school youth retreat at Camp Innabah! Get all the details and register here.
This fall, HopeCo leaders are traveling to the United States to visit their partner churches. They will be visiting Iron Works on September 24th; and their group is planned to include CEO Al Lackey, E. Africa director Hudson Mahare, and founder Regina Chacha. While we will be sending a team there in July 2025, this is tremendous opportunity for you to get to know our partner better, right here at home.
Here’s a brief video from Al, Hudson, and Hilda about their visit.
The evening will include worship, updates on HopeCo straight from its leaders, and a brief Q&A. Ultimately, this is an opportunity for you to connect with the global church, even if you’re not participating in the 2025 HopeCo missions trip!
An RSVP would be appreciated! And, if you have any questions, the missions team would be happy to help.
If you can’t make the visit night, you can still contribute! The missions team is putting together a packet of prayers and encouragement to send back to City of Hope. Everyone (kids included!) is invited to contribute drawings, Bible verses, photos, or written prayers to be shared with City of Hope staff or children. If you are a sponsor family, this is also an opportunity for you to send a handwritten letter to your sponsored child. Please give hard copies of your contributions to Kristy Goli by Monday, September 23rd so she can put the packet together in time for the HopeCo visit.
Youth group will be kicking off for the new season with a night of fellowship, vision, and prayer for both teens and parents.
Planned Schedule:
6:00–6:30p — Meal
6:40–7:10p — Ice breaker / Game
7:15–8:00p — Kids & Parents breakout groups
Please let us know whether you’ll be able to come or not using the form below.
