Lead Pastor

Kent Woodrow

Kent loves many things. He loves being husband to Anna and dad to Melody and Summer. He loves creative board games, engaging stories, good food, moving music, and a hearty laugh. He loves the messy beauty of church and doing life together with people from very different walks of life. But above all, Kent loves his Lord and longs for others to experience that same love.

If you’re looking for a place to belong, Kent gets it. It won’t take you long around Kent to realize he’s not just new to the area but to a lot of things that shouldn’t seem new. His upbringing in Mozambique has profoundly shaped Kent’s faith and perspective on ministry. But when it comes to ‘80s music and pop culture references, he’s still playing catch-up. Feel free to tease him about it—his wife Anna does all the time, especially as she introduces him to classic gems like The Office.

For the first decade of their marriage, Kent and Anna made homes and built friendships all over Missouri, North Carolina, and Virginia. Since July of 2024, though, the Woodrows have found their community here at Iron Works Church, and they’d love for you to find your place here, too.

ASsistant Pastor

Román González

Rev. Román González was born into a Christian family in southern México, and moved to the United States to attend college in Texas. After graduating, he moved to Philadelphia to attend Westminster Theological Seminary, where he graduated in 2021 with a Master of Divinity. His interests include Covenant Theology, Biblical Theology, Apologetics, Biblical Hermeneutics, and Biblical languages. He has a passion for teaching what he has learned, and has taught Biblical Hermeneutics and Greek at three Mexican Presbyterian seminaries. When he’s not studying or teaching, Román enjoys working out with a good audiobook, or trekking through downtown Phoenixville to get the best chai lattes at one of the various cafés.

Paul Frick

In the early days of Iron Works, the core group prayed for people with gray hair. They got Paul. They got his love for Christ, the Scriptures, and music...but his puns came too. You can often find him at the MTB skills part of Reservoir Park, only occasionally testing gravity.
