Rev. Darin Pesnell is the founding pastor of Iron Works Church. He and his family moved to Phoenixville in 2008 after falling in love with this town and sensing a call from God to plant a church here. Originally from New Jersey, Darin has worked in information technology since 1997, including lead roles at Merrill Lynch, Pfizer, Guiliani Partners, and various government agencies of the City of New York. Darin has served in ministry positions at the The Village Church of New York City and Faith Church of Malvern, PA. Darin is a graduate of Trinity College (B.A., Pastoral Ministry) and Westminster Seminary (M.A., Religion). Darin has been married to Krissy since 2001, and together they give thanks to God for their four children: Owen, Amelia, Eva, and Isaac.

Stanley D. Gale
Rev. Dr. Stanley D. Gale is the husband of one wife (Linda), father of four children (Samantha, Luke, Sarah, Nathan), and grandfather of nine (Ruby, Isaac, Weston, Kaylie, Jasper, Asher, Gryphon, Penelope, Judah). He holds Bachelor of Arts and Master of Education degrees from the University of Delaware, a Master of Divinity degree from Westminster Theological Seminary in Philadelphia, and a Doctor of Ministry degree from Covenant Theological Seminary in St. Louis. He has served as an ordained pastor in the Presbyterian Church in America for over 30 years. He has authored books on prayer, spiritual warfare, the Christian life, evangelism and biblical worldview (Ecclesiastes). Other than the racket of his grandkids, he most enjoys the racquet of the tennis court.
Pastor of church planting
Rev. Robbie Schmidtberger serves as the church planter and lead pastor for Iron Works West Chester. He and his wife, Jennifer, are transplants from Pittsburgh. Robbie has served churches in Pittsburgh, Kennett Square, and Wilmington, Delaware. Jennifer is an instructional designer for one of the world's leading nuclear energy companies, so she's the brain of the two. Robbie is deeply passionate about seeing Jesus' disciples open up their lives, practicing hospitality, and talking about Jesus and their faith in a way that honors Jesus. He is a graduate of the Reformed Presbyterian Theological Seminary located in Pittsburgh. His hobbies include coffee, bearding, barbecue, cycling, and water sports.
