As we look to a very new season in the life of Iron Works, we absolutely need God's power to move forward united. Join your church family to spend time fasting and seeking God in prayer together.
We'll begin fasting at 7pm on Sept. 14 and break our fast together on Sept. 15 at 6p, followed by a prayer meeting. Sign up below to bring some food (don’t worry, whatever is low-effort/something you’d cook on a weeknight is fine!)
Online prayer & fasting guide is coming soon.

This fall, HopeCo leaders are traveling to the United States to visit their partner churches. They will be visiting Iron Works on September 24th; and their group is planned to include CEO Al Lackey, E. Africa director Hudson Mahare, and founder Regina Chacha. While we will be sending a team there in July 2025, this is tremendous opportunity for you to get to know our partner better, right here at home.
Here’s a brief video from Al, Hudson, and Hilda about their visit.
The evening will include worship, updates on HopeCo straight from its leaders, and a brief Q&A. Ultimately, this is an opportunity for you to connect with the global church, even if you’re not participating in the 2025 HopeCo missions trip!
An RSVP would be appreciated! And, if you have any questions, the missions team would be happy to help.
If you can’t make the visit night, you can still contribute! The missions team is putting together a packet of prayers and encouragement to send back to City of Hope. Everyone (kids included!) is invited to contribute drawings, Bible verses, photos, or written prayers to be shared with City of Hope staff or children. If you are a sponsor family, this is also an opportunity for you to send a handwritten letter to your sponsored child. Please give hard copies of your contributions to Kristy Goli by Monday, September 23rd so she can put the packet together in time for the HopeCo visit.
If you have any interest in the trip to the City of Hope, Tanzania planned for 2025, please stay after the service on June 30th for an interest meeting. If you have any questions, you can contact the missions team at missions@ironworkschurch.org.
The Tanzania Vision Trip team—who visited the City of Hope, Tanzania last November—is excited to share more about their experiences in Africa and the work of HopeCo with you. Please RSVP by February 16th ▸
