Driven by their faith in Jesus, they provide quality holistic care that creates lasting transformation, enabling children, their families, and communities to flourish. HopeCo oversees multiple small sites in East Africa. Their flagship campus, City of Hope, is located in Ntgacha, Tanzania and is where our 2025 team will primarily stay and serve.

IWC Missions Philosophy

  • We aim to worship. Our vision for missions at Iron Works is that we would worship God more deeply as a result of understanding His love and plan for the nations.

  • We aim to be goers and senders. A healthy church will engage with the Great Commission in daily life at home, but also at the global level via going and sending. Those who go should never feel that they are alone in raising support and understanding. Those who stay should understand the importance of their role and share in the joys of a fruitful trip.

  • We aim to foster healthy, long-term partnerships. Iron Works continues to invest in building a relational, mutually beneficial partnership with HopeCo.

  • We aim to pursue excellence as defined by Mission Excellence’s 7 Standard’s of Excellence. HopeCo was accredited in these standards in early 2024. We utilize a variety of preparatory materials and methods to achieve this goal.
