Meeting Agenda

Members, stay after the service for a congregational meeting to vote on the church officer candidates. Additionally, officer nominations will open at this meeting and remain open through December 31st.

Officer Candidates

Before the vote, we encourage you to spend time getting to know the nominees who, if elected, will be serving our church as leaders. Pictures and biographies for each candidate are below, and contact information for the candidates can be found in the IWC Directory. More information about the qualifications for elders and deacons can be found here.

Jerry Frazer

(elder candidate)

I became a Christian as a little boy but spent most of my youth and young adult life trying to live in both worlds at the same time. The Lord used my college roommate to challenge me and my lifestyle. I began to repent of my ways, and through this process, Carol (my wife) became a Christian, too. We married in 1987.

Over a thirty year period prior to Iron Works, we attended two non-denominational churches and a Baptist church. However, as we lived our lives, we were looking for something more grounded in the gospel. In 2016, Carol and I joined Iron Works at the urging of our daughter Katie and son-in-law, Ben. We are are thankful for the worship, preaching and friends that we have made here.

I understand that the office of Elder is a calling that comes with great responsibility. I will do my best to glorify the Lord in all things, and to serve and love all of my brothers and sisters as Jesus loves us.

Iron Works has grown, and as a result, many of you don't know me. I'd be happy to meet with you and answer any questions you may have. Thank you.

Patrick Gallagher

(elder candidate, current active deacon)

Hi, my name's Patrick and I'm both honored and humbled to be a part of Iron Works Church and to be nominated as elder.

Some background on me: I was born and raised in Kimberton and have always loved our town. After graduating from Grove City College (where I became a Christian) and Biola University with degrees in Biochemistry and Science and Religion I made the best decision of my life - waiting tables at the Sly Fox restaurant. It was here that the Lord brought my beloved wife Linden into my life, and we were married a few years later. Love begets life and we have since been blessed with three beautiful children: Maeve, Alice, and Athan.

We have lived in the Borough for about 7 years now and take every chance we can to walk down to S12, Root Down, or enjoy a festival on Bridge. My family and I love the Lord, service in our community, hiking, almost any outdoor activity, new experiences and travel, and of course, good food.

One of the greatest privileges of my life is being able to worship alongside my father Keith, brother Dan, and sister Colleen as well as their families.

Wade Pegon

(deacon candidate)

Phoenixville is home to me. It is more than where I simply live, it is where I have grown up, it is where I have made deep friendships, and it is a place where God has worked amazing things in my life. I am the youngest of three boys, and my two older brothers currently live together in Colorado. My parents raised us in the faith, and the churches we went to growing up were Church of the Savior, Calvary Fellowship and Mission Community Church, and I attended youth group at Great Valley Presbyterian Church. I started going to Iron Works a little over four years ago now, and my parents attend New Story Church.

Growing up, I understood our faith and the Gospel from attending church and youth group. By God's grace, I knew Jesus early on in my life from the faithful teaching that I heard in these places, as well as a community of many Christian friends. However, my faith started to become more tangible to me at a Christian camp for boys in upstate New York, called Deerfoot Lodge. The Lord showed me here so clearly what mature, active faith is, seeing the staff pursue Christ in all that they did. I attribute much of my spiritual, as well as general growth, to my time at Deerfoot. Being a recipient of the brotherly love of Godly men who desired Christ to be glorified and known by their campers, has made me passionate for the same, and is one of the main reasons I am a volunteer for our churches youth group.

The clear emphasis on God-honoring community is one of the many things I have come to love about Iron Works Church - not just worshipping on Sunday, but seeking to make Him known to each other, as well as to those outside of our church, on a daily basis. My desire is to use the gifts that God has given me to serve the people who have blessed me so much, and have pointed me so often to the King.
