Christmas Eve Candlelight Service at Iron Works
December 24 | 6:30pm
“‘[Mary] will bear a son, and you shall call his name Jesus, for he will save his people from their sins.’ All this took place to fulfill what the Lord had spoken by the prophet:
’Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a son,
and they shall call his name Immanuel’ (which means, God with us).”
Why did God send his Son to be “with us”? How did he “save” us?
Join us this Christmas Eve for a candlelit service filled with songs familiar and new, a teaching on God’s rescue mission in the form of Jesus, and the opportunity to share in communion. Afterward, stay for cookies and (decaf!) coffee as we continue celebrating the joy of Christ's birth together.
We look forward to celebrating this special evening with you!
We welcome kids of all ages in the service, noises and all. We’ll have coloring pages and supplies all ready for them out in the cafe area. There is also a nursery area with service audio available for you to supervise your younger children in, if needed.
