Conclude our season of reflection and repentance by seeking God together in a day of fasting and prayer. This annual fast also prepares us for the year ahead as we look to be united and active in our mission:
Preach Christ. Love one another. Serve the City. Plant Churches.
The fast begins at 7p on Sunday, September 13th; and ends with a potluck meal and prayer meeting at 6p on Monday, September 14th. Fast to whatever extent you feel capable of—the intent is to remind ourselves of our dependance on God and increase time before Him in prayer. A prayer guide will be provided if you prefer to have something structured to guide your prayers. Online prayer guide coming soon.
Sign up below to bring some food to the potluck. Don’t worry about cooking anything fancy—whatever you’d cook on a weeknight (even pre-made dinners from Costco!) is perfect. Just remember everyone is going to be hungry! You can also sign up to help with setup and cleanup of the meal.
