Children’s Church
during the sermon
ages 2.5–4
Children of all ages are welcome (and encouraged) to participate in the service. However, children’s church is a place for your child to worship and fellowship with other kids through music, hearing of the Word, and exposure to liturgy until they are old enough to stay in the service full-time.
After singing, the group divides into preschool (2.5 - 4.5) and early elementary (4.5 - 2nd grade) with a rotating team of dedicated teachers. Preschool meets in the RA kindergarten wing, while elementary meets in the pastoral office. Kids dismiss to class at the five minute break and return in time for communion.
Children learn from the Show Me Jesus curriculum, which is chronological and Christ-centered. It also incorporates the Children’s Catechism while being fun and accessible. For more information, please contact Sheyna Land or Kathy Colbert.
