Youth Retreat: Fall 2024

September 27–29 | Camp Innabah

This year we’ll be heading to Camp Innabah in Spring City. Read through the details below for more information, and if you have any questions, reach out to Sheyna Land.

Please note that this year, the registration cost includes meals (see details below) and is due by September 21st. If the cost of attendance poses any obstacle to your family, we’d love to help. Please reach out to Sheyna.

insurance and waivers

• If you opted to share your teen’s insurance information during this year’s family ministry registration, you’re good to go!

• If you didn’t register your teen or opted not to share insurance info, please be ready to provide insurance info during retreat registration in case of emergencies. If you didn’t register your teen, you will also be required to sign an activities waiver and a parental consent form for the retreat. Or, skip the extra steps and register your teen for the whole year now.

The student code of conduct fully applies to the retreat. In addition, please review these expectations with your teen:

• No cell phones or electronics of any kind at the retreat. (Includes headphones, tablets, smart watches, etc. Leave them at home.)

• Please do not pack clothing that draws attention in its fit or messaging. (E.g. muscle shirts revealing sides, shorts or pants that are tight or revealing.)

• Shower and bathroom facility is separate from cabins—students should be fully and appropriately clothed for any trips to these facilities, bringing all necessary supplies and change of clothes with them.

• Parents should turn all medications into leaders at the beginning of the retreat.

meals

The cost of attendance this year includes the following meals:

• Saturday—breakfast, lunch, and dinner

• Sunday—breakfast and lunch

Gluten-free options are available at every meal, should your teen require them. Please note that dinner on Friday is not provided.

Lodging

• We will be staying at the cabins, which do not have air conditioning or heating. Please pay attention to the weather and pack appropriately.

• Bed linens are not provided. Make sure to pack sheets, blankets, and pillows!

• Shower and bathroom facilities are separate from cabins. Students should be fully and appropriately clothed for any trips to these facilities, bringing all necessary supplies and change of clothes with them.
