Event Coordinator

LOCATION: Iron Works Church—Phoenixville

CLASSIFICATION: Part-time (4–6 hours per week to start)


The event coordinator plays a crucial role in stewarding the resources given to Iron Works Church by both facilitating use of the space as a place of outreach to Phoenixville and investing in it as an asset to provide for the funding and upkeep of the facility. The coordinator will be creating this venture from the ground up rather than administering an existing process.


  • Promote and market the facilities for daytime and small/casual events via social media and networking with local businesses and community organizations, among others.

  • Meet and correspond with potential clients, provide tour of facilities, answer questions.

  • Represent Iron Works Church’s mission to love and serve Phoenixville to members of the community who are interested in using our space.

  • Coordinate event date, logistics, equipment usages, and details with clients and other businesses that use the space.

  • Ability to embrace the vision, values, and statement of faith of Iron Works Church.

  • A heart for Phoenixville and desire to use our space for the benefit of the community.

  • Strong interpersonal skills, easily connects well with others.

  • Ability to keep track of and follow through on details.

  • Reliable, trustworthy, self-starter.

  • Tech-savvy; works easily with applications like Google Drive.
