Meet Kent Woodrow, our pastoral candidate!

The pastoral search committee has moved forward to recommend a candidate for our new lead pastor: Rev. Kent Woodrow. Kent, his wife Anna, and their two daughters Melody and Summer will be spending an entire weekend with Iron Works from April 4th–7th. We have a full schedule of events to make sure you get time to know Kent and Anna before our congregation will vote on whether to call Kent as our new lead pastor. You can learn more about the Woodrows through the profile developed by the pastoral search committee, linked at the button below.

Candidate Weekend: Schedule of Events

Home Group Meetups

Home groups will be meeting with Kent and Anna at designated times between April 4th–April 6th. Find what time your group is meeting, as well as more details, here.

Not in a Home Group? This Meetup is for you!

If you aren’t part of a home group, you’ll have an opportunity to meet Kent and Anna on Saturday, April 6th. Get more details and RSVP here.

Q&A and Potluck Dinner

After you’ve had a chance to meet Kent and Anna personally, there will be a church-wide Q&A with them on Saturday, April 6th from 4–5p, followed by a potluck dinner. Please submit your questions ahead of time and sign up to bring food here.

Sunday morning

Finally, the Woodrows will be joining us for our Sunday service on April 7th. Both Kent and Anna will be visiting Sunday School classes from 9–10a, and then Kent will be preaching for us during our worship service (which will be Doodle Sunday!). The Woodrows will be hanging out in the cafe after the service to chat and answer any remaining questions you might have.

What Next?
