Hermeneutics Boot Camp

IWC High School Students — July 5–6

As our teens grow, one of our greatest desires is to see them read the Bible regularly, gain a deep understanding of its truth, and to grow in their faith.

Hermeneutics expert Tim Spears is coming to lead our teens in a Bible reading intensive that will arm them with solid skills for Bible interpretation. Tim will teach them good questions to ask of the text, how to see the Gospel there, and how to identify visual images.

Tim is a long-time friend of Iron Works and serves as a ruling elder at Olive Street Presbyterian Church. He is a pastor, teacher, and has worked as a missionary in the Philippines. As a co-founder of Cloud Theological Institute, he teaches theology to international students.
