Safeguarding Training by GRACE—These recorded training seminars aim to equip you as a member of Iron Works to safeguard our community against abuse. If you serve in any area of kids ministry, as a leader (in men’s or women’s ministry, the Phoenixville Refuge, or home groups), as a staff member, or as a church officer, you are required to complete this training.

Facility Calendar—A calendar of when church spaces are in use.
Sunday Service Teams—Get information about what it looks like to serve on Sunday mornings.
Expense Reimbursement—If you’ve made an approved purchase on behalf of the church (e.g., pizza for youth group, supplies for coffee on Sunday mornings), follow these instructions to get your reimbursement processing.
Clearances for Kids Ministry—To serve in any area of kids ministry, you need to pass a state-mandated series of background checks.
Plan an Event
Have an idea for an event or program? The Iron Works staff would love to help you execute it!
Start by submitting an event request form.
The church administrator, Annika Griffith, will connect with you to walk through details (e.g., scheduling, space reservation, and communications).
Schedule an Announcement or Offertory
If you’re planning an event and have already submitted an event planning form, you’re all good! Most events are announced by staff or liturgists within a few weeks of either the event date or the RSVP deadline. If you have any questions about announcing your event, contact Annika Griffith.
Offertory is a time to share an aspect of your worship outside of Sunday morning. Read more about what an offertory looks like >.
Special announcements are for anything else. Submit an announcement request form, and Annika Griffith will contact you soon to coordinate details.
FYI…Sunday morning announcements are often scheduled weeks (sometimes months!) in advance. We aim to get every item its fair share of attention, though sometimes, particularly in busy seasons of the church’s life, that’s not possible. Getting your request in early can help avoid that!
