PAAK: Property Acquisition for the Advancement of the Kingdom
Iron Works Church passionately seeks to preach Christ, love one another, serve our city, and plant churches.
Through PAAK, we want to live this mission out through acquiring a permanent home for Iron Works. A permanent home gives us a place to worship, host events for Phoenixville, have a hub for outreach projects, and pursue church-planting efforts.
Current Fund Status:
How can you help?
1. Pray. The Lord is faithful to provide for what He calls us to. Pray for provision of funds for this space.
2. Give. Consider what you and your family might give toward purchasing this space. The PAAK team asks that you would seriously pray over what the Lord would have you give monthly, weekly, or yearly for 3 years to the PAAK building fund over and above your regular tithe.
3. Raise funds. We've hosted several successful fundraisers so far and plan for more in the months ahead. You can buy an Iron Works T-shirt from the PAAK table on Sunday mornings. Have an idea for a fundraiser? Contact Drew Gess.
PAAK board in Franklin Hall
This is a commitment board. PAAK would like for you to seriously pray over what the Lord would have you give monthly, weekly, or yearly for 3 years to the PAAK building fund. (This giving would be over and above your regular tithe.)
The bags hanging on the board are for you to take when you have prayed and decided on a commitment. Inside you will find an IWC magnet, an IWC sticker, a commitment card, and white ping-pong ball with the Iron Works logo. Fill out the commitment card and put it in the offering box. You can put the sticker and magnet on your refrigerator or computer as a reminder for you to pray and give. The white ball is to be put in the glass vase on thePAAK board. When all commitments are taken, the vase will be full of our Iron Works ping-pong balls, visually representing each family's contribution toward achieving the goal to fund the purchase of our building.
Take a mug! Every time you have a cup of coffee or tea, pray for our church, including for the mission of PAAK.
