Associate Pastor

Sam Andreades

Rev. Dr. Sam A. Andreades is the Associate Pastor here. He has been a minister for twenty years, serving congregations in New York City and Pennsylvania. He and his resplendent wife, Mary K., have been friends of Iron Works since its beginning and began attending the church in 2018. They have raised four children together: Thaddaeus, Jeremy, and Veronica who are married; and Enoch, who is dating with discernment. Sam loves Phoenixville for the weekend frisbee game at Friendship Fields.

Director of Congregational Care

Joshua Olson

Josh loves his wife Becky and three boys, Liam, Luke, and Peter. One of the founding members of Iron Works Church and a longtime elder, his main goal in this role is to help increase people's joy in Christ. He attended classes at Westminster Theological Seminary, and enjoys reading, studying, and teaching the sacred scriptures. He enjoys a good brew at one of the many breweries in Phoenixville. When he's not serving at Iron Works, he serves as a critical care registered nurse in the Main Line Health system. Being out in nature and running are the ways he decompresses and relaxes, and mountains and hiking trails are some of his favorite places.

Pastoral Resident

Román González

Rev. Román González was born into a Christian family in southern México, and moved to the United States to attend college in Texas. After graduating, he moved to Philadelphia to attend Westminster Theological Seminary, where he graduated in 2021 with a Master of Divinity. His interests include Covenant Theology, Biblical Theology, Apologetics, Biblical Hermeneutics, and Biblical languages. He has a passion for teaching what he has learned, and has taught Biblical Hermeneutics and Greek at three Mexican Presbyterian seminaries. When he’s not studying or teaching, Román enjoys working out with a good audiobook, or trekking through downtown Phoenixville to get the best chai lattes at one of the various cafés.

Ruling Elders

Ryan Estes

Ryan loves photography, hiking with his family, and the amazing community that Phoenixville is. An extroverted introvert, he’s occasionally mistaken for someone who plays guitar and is always up for good conversation over breakfast in town.

Craig Newcomb

Craig enjoys hiking on local (and not-so-local) trails, but he can more often be found at home reading aloud with his family. A walk downtown is always better with ice cream from Brown's Cow.

Ray Rishty

Ray and his family live in Downingtown, but have long admired Phoenixville and its community. You'll often find him enjoying breakfast or a morning brew at Nudy’s or Steel City Coffeehouse.

Paul Frick

In the early days of Iron Works, the core group prayed for people with gray hair. They got Paul. They got his love for Christ, the Scriptures, and music...but his puns came too. You can often find him at the MTB skills part of Reservoir Park, only occasionally testing gravity.
